GOD - There is one God, eternally existent as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal. God is one; infinite in power, holy in nature, and personal in His love for mankind.
THE BIBLE - The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, revealing the will of God. These writings are the unique and final authority on all matters of faith and how it is lived out. The Bible is the sole basis of our belief system.
MAN - Man was created good and upright in the image of God. By voluntary transgressions, man fell into sin, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
JESUS - Jesus Christ, eternally with the Father, took upon Himself the form of man, and being born of the virgin, lived a sinless life. He voluntarily gave His life on the cross as the supreme sacrifice for our sins, bringing salvation to all who trust in Him alone. After His physical death, Jesus Christ rose from the dead and ascended into heaven as the only intercessor between God and humans. He promises to personally return to earth to fulfill the eternal plan of God.-
HOLY SPIRIT - The Holy Spirit leads believers to live a life of Christ-like character and bear fruit for the Father's glory. The baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers believers to apply the Bible to their own lives and to do great things for Him. The gifts of the Spirit that was evident in the early church are available, through faith, for us today.
HEAVEN & HELL - In this life, we have a choice to accept Christ or reject him. After death, this decision is eternally sealed and those who have accepted Christ will be received into eternal communion with God in heaven. Those who have rejected Him will suffer eternal separation from God in hell.
SALVATION - We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ: His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts. Repentance - is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through repentance, we receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation.
Sanctification - is the ongoing process of yielding to God’s Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ's character in us. It is through the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
THE CHURCH - All who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are united with Him as members of His body, the one true church. Scripture commands believers to gather for worship, prayer, fellowship, and the teaching of the Word; to observe Baptism and Communion as established by Jesus Christ; to offer service to the body through the development and use of talents, gifts, and outreach to the world. The local expression of the church is wherever God's people meet regularly in obedience to this command. Church members are to work together in love and unity for the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.
MARRIAGE - We believe that marriage is a divine institution defined once-and-for-all in Scripture. It is not subject to political or cultural change. God created marriage to be a life-long commitment between one man and one woman. Marriage is more than a civil contract. It establishes a covenant relationship that is united by God and illustrative of Christ’s relationship with his church.
SANCTITY OF LIFE - We believe that human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being. Abortion constitutes the unjustified, unexcused taking of unborn human life.
